Oscars 2013

If you haven't seen the fashion at the Oscars, you already know it was fabulous!

My favourite was Katherine Mcphee. She looked elegant and sexy in a black dress that separated in two.

I thought to myself "Wow, she must have had some great products to pull this off!"
And of course, she did!

Katherine McPhee wore Purestyle Girlfriend's own magical Pick-Me-Up tape!

Zanna Rassi Roberts is a senior fashion editor of Marie-Claire magazine. Zanna was Katharine's stylist for the Oscars!
Here is the segment on E!Online with Zanna explaining how she used PSG's product!

We were very excited & honoured to be featured at such a fabulous event!

Montreal Fashion Week - Semaine de le Mode

During February 4th - 7th, over 20 designers showcased their Fall/Winter 2013 collections. Few fashion addicts were lucky enough to score some seats for the much-anticipated show.

Ashley from PSG Canada attended the event everyday throughout the whole week right after a (long) work day! She handed out flyers, networked, and watched all the runway shows. She ran into Luis from Fashion Society and got to hang out with him all week!

She also met a the lovely Rashi Bindra, who was blogging that week for The Fashion Society! There were so many different bloggers that took pictures of Ashley, she must be all over the net!

Ashley was star struck when she saw Will Smith! Who wouldn't be? He's an amazing man.

Local talented designers showcased their collections, the full list of them can be seen on www.sensationmode.com

PSG Canada donated over 300 samples of our fashion tape for the swag bags, as well as our flyers and cards to those in the industry only.

The Montreal Fashion Week was much different than the one in Toronto. The stage was a celebration of cultural expression of designers and craftspeople. It was beautiful!

Beyonce at the Superbowl

I am not going to sit here and pretend I watched the Superbowl for the football. Or is it hockey? Squash?

I made disgustingly greasy snacks and chowed down with my boyfriend in front of the TV, while he thought I actually wanted to watch (insert sport here).

Truthfully, I've been a hardcore Beyonce fan since I was 8 years old. I would dance in front of my mirror in the middle of night, with my Air Canada headphones on and her album Dangerously In Love playing through my walkman (remember those?) So when I heard she was performing at the Superbowl, I wasn't going to miss it for the world!

And was it ever a PERFORMANCE! Damn. I put those snacks down the second she stepped on stage. Did she really just have a baby? Did she even age? Is Beyonce even human?

Here are pics of Queen B in 2003

And here she is in 2013

The only differences I see are the clothes, hair, and make up. 10 years and 1 baby did not do anything to this woman! She still looks flawless.
Jay-Z must be one proud man. I know I would be.

Wide-eyed and confused, my boyfriend did not why I was screaming during her performance. When Kelly and Michelle came onstage to sing Independent Women, I couldn't contain myself. My whole childhood was right in front of me.

Her performance was outstanding, her vocals phenomenal, her style undeniably sexy. No wonder why they call her Queen B!

As an interesting side note, a Canadian dancer was dancing onstage with Beyonce during this performance! Montreal native Kim Gingras' dreams came true when she got called back to perform with Beyonce after her audition.

Here is the link to Beyonce's full performance, which you definitely need to watch again.
