Toronto Fashion Week

With its name changing very regularly, going from LG Fashion Week to World Mastercard Fashion Week... Let me just stick with Toronto Fashion Week.

A few days ago, Ashley & Dianna from PSG Canada attended the Toronto Fashion Week, which showcased spring and summer collections!
It is known as the largest fashion week in Canada and the 2nd largest in North America ( after New York, of course).

Luckily for us fashion addicts, the Toronto Fashion Week occurs twice a year! We attended the October show for spring and summer styles, but there is also one during the month of March to showcase fall and winter collections!

Companies were offered to contribute to "swag bags" (kind of like loot bags but for fashionistas) that would be given to those attending the Fashion Week. PSG gladly donated some sample fashion tape with our flyers & company cards.
We hope everybody loved our fashion tape! Who wouldn't?

We had so much fun visiting TO for the Fashion Week. We met so many great people like Louis and George from Fashion Society!

How can we forget the lovely Jeanne Beker who is Canada's most respected fashion critic! Covering fashion and lifestyle news for shows on CTV, no wonder why we were so star struck!

Although it was a rainy weekend in Toronto, the fashion was HOT inside! Watching the catwalk at night, we wanted to get our hands on everything. We were so thankful to get free tickets to the fashion show from a generous person we met during the networking event!

Luckily Ashley & Dianna had an old friend, Rafic, living in the city. No need for a hotel when a friend has a trendy apartment in the heart of the city! For Halloween, they went out and partied with Rafic. Work hard play hard, right?

PSG Canada would love to attend more of Toronto Fashion Week. We met so many great icons, realized all of our possibilities, and networked with many people!
If you'd love to see what the next season's must haves will be, I suggest attending the next Toronto Fashion Week!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It's time to step back from all of the exciting things happening around us and get serious.
The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We all know someone who has been touched, and we have to do everything we can to help find a cure.

Selling mostly products for breasts, this topic hits close to home.

PSG Canada is a part of the Circle of Friends (Cercle des Amis) for Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation. For every box sold of our Shape-a-Cup, $1 goes toward the foundation.

Shape-a-Cup is a great product for those who have been touched with breast cancer who went through mastectomies. It was created by a medical doctor who survived breast cancer herself. After a double mastectomy, her breasts lost the shape they used to have. It is a full coverage cup that lifts and shapes the entire breast.
It is also suited for women whose breasts have lost their shape due to breast feeding or lumpectomies.

It also works great for women who haven't undergone any surgeries, as it lifts and shapes the breast naturally.

Montreal Gift Show

During August 26-28 2012, Pure Style Girlfriends Canada attended The Montreal Gift Show at Place Bonaventure in Montreal. It is a 4 day event with more than 8,000 attending retailers! The Montreal Gift Show is for wholesalers, manufacturers, distributors and designers who want to grow their businesses in Quebec! Attending this show can help you get new leads, open new accounts and boost your sales in the province.

We had set up a booth showing off all of our products while an instructional video of our Pick Me Up tape played. This attracted many people to stop and learn more of our products. PSG Canada had so much fun talking to new people and we received many new clients!

This year, the Montreal Gift Show is taking place from August 25th - 28th at the same location. I recommend attending if you are interested in new products!

Here are a few photos of the gift show
